The Knicks will bring some local flavor with them to Las Vegas.
Fordham forward Khalid Moore will play for the Knicks in next month’s Summer League, the school confirmed, after Moore’s addition to the Knicks’ roster was first reported by SNY.
Moore, an Elmont native who attended Archbishop Molloy High School, played four seasons at Georgia Tech before transferring to Fordham as a graduate student-athlete.
The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 15.7 points and 6.7 rebounds in 33 games for the Rams, who posted the program’s most wins (25-8) since 1990-91.
The Knicks’ Summer League slate opens July 8 against the 76ers in Vegas.
