LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Police are investigating a shooting where 2 people were shot at a home in the central Las Vegas Valley Friday evening.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says around 6:15 p.m. two people were outside a home in the 5000 block of Garden Lane, near Tropicana and Maryland Parkway, when they were approached by at least at least one person and then an argument ensued.
Two people were shot, one person was taken to the hospital and then died there. The other person was also taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.
Metro says the shooter fled the scene and they are looking for the suspect.
Homicide detectives are on the scene investigating this shooting.
