LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Metro police are investigating a deadly shooting in the southwest valley Monday morning.
According to LVMPD, the shooting occurred around 10:02 p.m. on Sunday near a business in the 3600 block of South Jones Boulevard. Arriving officers located two men suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot.
Medical crews took both men to a nearby hospital, where one man was pronounced dead.
An initial investigation found that a group of men were involved in a fight in the parking lot. One person then pulled out a firearm and opened fire on the group, striking the two men before fleeing the area.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
