LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – One person is injured and eight are without homes after a west valley apartment caught fire Saturday.
Around 11:45 a.m., Clark County Fire Department received reports of smoke coming from the two-story Lake Charlotte Apartments on Wynn Road. The fire was contained to the room where it originated and later extinguished.
One person was injured due to breaking glass but later declined transportation to any nearby hospitals. Eight people were displaced in the fire, CCFD says.
The cause of the fire was determined to be unintentional though the exact cause is still unclear.
Dollar loss is estimated to be less than $25,000.
