LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A 15-year-old is facing murder and robbery charges after Las Vegas police identified her as the latest suspect in a deadly January apartment shooting.
The teenager was taken into custody on Monday, March 4, 2024, and booked into Clark County Juvenile Hall. She is the sixth suspect to be arrested in connection with this case.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has also arrested two 18-year-olds and a pair of relatives earlier this month. On Monday, an additional 17-year-old suspect was taken into custody in California.
Officers responded to initial reports of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 2200 block of North Torrey Pines Drive on Jan. 2 around 9:41 p.m. A man was located inside the apartment, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers were also notified of another male who arrived at a nearby hospital with similar, but non-life-threatening injuries. His injuries were later determined to be related to the shooting.
