LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Clark County coroner confirmed with FOX5 the identity of the teenager who died in a shooting Tuesday night in a west Las Vegas apartment complex.

The coroner identified the victim as Ah’Sioni Henderson. He is a 16-year-old from Las Vegas. His died from multiple gunshot wounds and his manner of death was a homicide.

Police said they received multiple reports of a person “shot and down” around 9:22 p.m. in the 2100 block of Club Pacific Way. This is near Lake Mead Boulevard and Buffalo Drive.

Arriving officers located the teen suffering from gunshot wounds and requested medical transport. Police say he was involved in an altercation with multiple other people before he was shot.

Police say all suspect fled before police could arrive.

Henderson died at University Medical Center.
