LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police said a 17-year-old motorcyclist is in critical condition after northeast valley crash.

Police said the crash happened Saturday morning at 11:56 p.m. near N. Pecos Road and E. Cheyenne Avenue.

Police said a 17-year-old drove a 2015 Honda motorcycle southbound on Sandy Lane approaching Colton Avenue. At the same moment, a 62-year-old driving a Chevrolet Cruze traveled southbound on Sandy.

A crash happened when the Cruze driver turned left, entering the path of the motorcyclist.

Medical arrived and transported the 17-year-old to UMC Trauma where he remains in critical condition.

The driver of the Chevrolet remained at the scene and did not display any signs of impairment.

“This collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section,” police said.
