LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – An 18-year-old was taken into custody on Saturday in connection to the deadly shooting of a teen in a west Las Vegas apartment.

18-year-old Lennix Dockery was identified as a suspect in the case, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. He was taken into custody on April 27 by law enforcement in Idaho, and booked into a local detention center. His extradition to Las Vegas is currently pending.

On Tuesday, April 9, LVMPD officers responded to reports of a shooting in an apartment complex located in the 2100 block of Club Pacific Way. Arriving officers located a teenager suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

On Thursday, April 11, the Clark County Coroner identified the victim as 16-year-old Ah’Sioni Henderson from Las Vegas. He died from multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.

Detectives determined the teenager was involved in an altercation with several other individuals in the complex before the shooting. All suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
