LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A 19-year-old is in critical condition after a crash east of the Las Vegas Strip, police say.
The crash happened near Flamingo Road and Maryland Parkway Thursday morning at 12:26 a.m.
Police said Nicole C. drove a 2008 Toyota Camry eastbound on Flamingo Road, east of Tamarus Street.
The 19-year-old woman was crossing Flamingo outside of a marked crosswalk and walked into the Camry’s path.
Police said the pedestrian was struck. Medical arrived and transported her to Sunrise Hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and did not show signs of impairment.
“This collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section,” police said.
