ARREST REPORT: Suspect in Las Vegas home invasion said cops ‘killed the wrong person’

The Durham family attorney, Cannon Lambert, was at court as well as Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson.

Durham’s family is seeking the arrest of a Metro police officer who responded to Durham’s call reporting the home invasion. 26-year-old officer Alexander Bookman has been with the department since 2021.

LVMPD said Bookman fired six rounds at Durham inside the home.

“Officer Bookman belonged in that courtroom today, and so this is 50% of the puzzle,” Lambert said. “And so you can imagine that we’re not happy with 50% of the puzzle.”

Wolfson said Boudreaux is a flight risk and danger to the community. In an arrest report, Boudreaux said she wanted the cops to kill her.

The DA revealed she had prior felony convictions in five different states.

“I wish it was as straightforward as a 10 or 15 second snippet of video. It’s not. I want to make the right decision, so I’m going to look at everything,” Wolfson said. “It’s undisputed that Officer Bookman and another officer were at the Durham residence approximately 24 hours before and had interaction to a certain degree with both Mr. Durham and defendant Boudreaux.”

Judge Amy Wilson gave Boudreaux a $1 million bail.
