LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Clark County Coroners’ Office has identified one of the victims in a deadly south valley shooting that claimed the lives of two people.

Officials identified Danaijha Robinson, 20, as the female who was shot.

At this time, the second victim has not been identified.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, officers were conducting a traffic stop on Monday, March 4, around 9 p.m., when they heard shots fired in the area.

Police located a nearby vehicle that had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

FOX5 spoke to neighbors who said, “I could tell they were trying to resuscitate a baby on the pavement. I could tell there was another victim on the ground.”

Robinson’s family told FOX5 she was watching her friend’s child and was driving home to the northeast valley after leaving a house in the southern highlands area.

The sister of the woman killed tells FOX5 they left their friend’s house in two separate cars. One friend’s car got pulled over, so the victim was in another car and stopped as well, and this is when shots were fired into the car.

LVMPD says this is an ongoing investigation. No arrest have been made at this time.
