LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Minor League Baseball is bringing its championship game to Las Vegas in September.
On Monday, the league announced that the 2025 Triple-A National Championship game will be held at Las Vegas Ballpark, home of the Aviators. This is the fourth consecutive season the game has been held at the venue.
“We appreciate the Las Vegas Aviators serving as host for this great event once again and we look forward to another terrific crowd and exciting game to finish the Minor League season,” said Morgan Sword, MLB’s executive vice president of baseball operations.
In 2006, the league hosted its first championship game.
“As one of the premier ballparks in all of Minor League Baseball, it’s only fitting that this event be held here once again and we’re looking forward to another exciting ballgame with a great crowd,” said Aviators President & Chief Operations Officer Don Logan.
The winning teams of both the International League and Pacific Coast League will play against each other in this matchup. Winning the Triple-A Championship is the highest level a team can achieve.
Last year, the Sugar Land Space Cowboys defeated the Omaha Storm Chasers 13-6.
The game will be held Saturday, September 27 at 7:05 p.m.
