LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The 215 beltway in southwest Las Vegas is set to close Friday.
Clark County says the 215 will close in both directions from Tropicana Avenue to Flamingo Road. This is so crews can efficiently work on the Peace Way bridge over the freeway.
The closure is expected to start 9 p.m. Friday and continue through Saturday. The county says the closure will not last for more than 24 hours. Regular project construction hours are generally between 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Southbound lane reductions could start as far north as Town Center Drive, and northbound reductions will start around Sunset Road.
Clark County recommended the following detour: Use Fort Apache Road to access the CC-215 at Flamingo Road for northbound travel on the Beltway and to access the CC-215 at Tropicana Avenue for southbound travel.
