LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police said a 50-year-old shot and killed his girlfriend Sunday.
Metro police said a shooting happened at 4:13 a.m. at a home in the 9300 block of Aspen Shadow Street. This is between Durango and Buffalo on Blue Diamond.
Dispatch received a report of a woman shot.
When officers arrived, they found a man, identified as Paul Moore, who said he shot his girlfriend. Officers went inside the home and found a woman shot.
Medical arrived and said she died at the scene.
Homicide detectives took over. Investigation revealed the two were in an argument right before the shooting.
Moore was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center for open murder.
The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, can be obtained through the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
