LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – 9 adults have been displaced following a home fire Monday morning.

The Clark County Fire Department said they responded to a structure fire around 4:51 a.m. at 1970 Westwind Drive. This is near Jones and Sahara.

Arriving units would find an “advanced” fire that was extending to the home. 68 personnel responded.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but firefighters say the fire started outside and then spread to the home.

Officials say one bystander was treated for a medical episode but did not need to be transported to the hospital.

“There were no other injuries reported,” officials say. “CCFD was assisted by Las Vegas Fire and Rescue and the American Red Cross.”
