LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting incident that turned into a barricade in the west valley.
Police are on scene in the 4400 block of South Durango Drive near Peace Way. Police said the shooting happened around 11:31 a.m.
The male suspect is now barricaded at a residence in the 4500 block of South Bonita Vista Street and is refusing to exit, police say.
SWAT and crisis negotiators are on scene and no injuries have been reported.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area.
