LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A lucky tourist won a massive jackpot on the Las Vegas Strip last week.
The tourist, identified as Scott A. from Omaha, Neb., was playing Pai Gow Poker at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino Thursday night when he hit a seven card straight flush on the progressive jackpot.
Caesars Entertainment said Scott was playing for about an hour and a half when he hit the jackpot, winning $1,620,470.
Scott said he was visiting the casino that night to watch football.
Scott said when he hit the jackpot, his first reaction was to call his wife. He said he plans to invest his winnings.
