LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Former President, Donald Trump visited the valley this evening for a rally at the World Market Center in Downtown Las Vegas.

There was a slight delay though.

Trump was supposed to start at 7 p.m., but it took him a little longer to get here, as he had an event in California Friday morning.

He started around 8 p.m. instead.

Despite the late start, Trump got a standing room only crowd going Friday night.

The topics that got the most reaction out of the crowd were the debate, the border, and attacks on his opponent, Vice President, Kamala Harris.

Around 6,000 people expected to attend, according to a Trump campaign spokesperson.

The speeches stopped around 6:45 p.m. Because he was late, there was a lot of downtime and people got up to stretch their legs. But it was a who’s who of Republicans taking the stage, including Sam Brown, who’s running for Senate, former Chief of Staff of the Department of Defense, Kash Patel, the Chairman of the Republican party of Nevada, Michael McDonald, and former U.S. Representative of Hawaii, Tulsi Gabbard who became estranged from the Democratic Party.

But this crowd came for Trump, and cheered whenever he went after Kamala Harris on her border policies compared to his.

“We have got to get this border fixed. They come in totally unchecked,” Trump said. “Kamala will be the President of Invasion. I will be the president of making this country stronger, more beautiful,” Trump said to applause. “We are going to tell Harris 53 days from now we have had enough.”

Trump spoke for just over an hour, and during the time some people in the crowd filtered out early, but the majority stayed until the end.

Trump also hammered home the idea that if voters help him take Nevada, he can win the election.

What’s next for Trump?

He’ll be off to another battleground state heading to Flint, Michigan for a town hall on Tuesday, September 17th.
