LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – North Las Vegas police are investigating two separate incidents that occurred on Martin Luther King Boulevard early Monday morning. However, police say they’re unrelated.

Around 1 a.m., officers with the North Las Vegas Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 1500 block of Bluestar Drive, near MLK and Alexander.

Arriving officers did not locate any victims in the area, though they would later learn of two victims – one at Dignity Health, and another at UMC Trauma.

Both victims were reported to be in stable condition.

Around 1:40 a.m., additional officers responded to reports of a hit-and-run nearly a block away at Martin Luther King Boulevard and Craig Road.

A pedestrian was transported to UMC Trauma in critical condition, and the vehicle did not remain at the scene.

No details about a suspect in either incident were shared by NLVPD, though investigations are ongoing.
