LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – UFC 306 at Sphere set records for both UFC and Sphere.
According to a media release, the Sept. 14 event was the highest-grossing UFC event of all time. For the Sphere, it was the highest-grossing single event.
It was a sold out crowd of 16,024 guests and $22 million in sales.
It beat UFC 205 between Alvarez and McGregor at Madison Square Garden at $17.7 million.
Officials say 89% of ticket buyers came from out of state.
