LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A passenger landed a small plane flying from the Las Vegas Valley to California, the Federal Aviation Administration says.

The landing happened Friday around 1:40 p.m. Pacific Time. There were two people on board a twin-engine Beechcraft King Air 90.

The plane departed from the Henderson Executive Airport and was headed to Monterey Regional Airport.

The passenger made the landing because the pilot had a medical emergency, officials say.

The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate. The NTSB will be in charge of the investigation and will provide all updates.
