LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police said they found a woman dead inside a luggage bag early Thursday morning.
Police responded to the area of Spencer Street and East Reno Avenue around 4:19 a.m. that day. Arriving officers found a woman inside a luggage bag near an apartment complex.
Medical responded and said the woman was dead.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Section responded and took over the investigation because of the suspicious nature.
The Clark County Coroner identified her as 46-year-old Kristen Avelar.
