LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A suspect is in custody Thursday after leading police on a chase through northwest Las Vegas.
Around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department attempted to apprehend a suspect who got into a vehicle and fled the area. Police add that the suspect then fled on foot and escaped police.
The following morning, officers were notified of a “suspicious individual” in the area of Grand Teton Drive and Loch Diabaig Street around 10:03 a.m.
Arriving officers located an individual matching the description of the suspect. The suspect was not identified, but police were able to take him into custody.
An investigation is ongoing.
