The Las Vegas Valley Water District is the lead agency into the water main break. They told FOX5 there was a break in a 1960s pipeline.

“There was a break in a section of pipeline that was installed in the 1960s,” the district said. “LVVWD crews were able to successfully complete repairs and get service restored to all customers within 5 hours.”
