LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Clark County Fire Department provided new details of the tragic southwest Las Vegas fire that left two adults and two children dead.
CCFD Chief John Steinbeck says they do not believe it was an intentional fire.
“We have ruled out a lot of concerns there people may have… but we believe this fire to be accidental in nature,”
At 4:15 a.m. on Oct. 24, CCFD crews responded to a three-story home fire on Langhorne Creek Street. First responders witnessed flames coming from the second—and third-floor windows.
According to officials, the house began to collapse shortly after crews arrived. The heat forced firefighters to take a defensive approach.

Crews could not initially locate four missing individuals, but they were located and removed from the home hours later.
The Clark County coroner identified the four: 48-year-old Ibrahim Adem, 43-year-old Abdusalem Adem, 7-year-old Anaya Adem and 6-year-old Aaliyah Adem.
Chief Steinbeck confirmed the mother and child were the two that jumped from a window and are in the hospital recovering.
The smoke alarms in the home were triggered, alerting the residents. Chief Steinbeck believes this helped save two lives.
Investigators have asked residents in the area who have videos before 4 a.m. to send them in as they can assist officials with the ongoing investigation.
