LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The former Las Vegas Raiders player convicted of killing a valley woman and her dog in a crash moved to transitional housing.

25-year-old Henry Ruggs previously worked at the governor’s mansion as part of his DUI sentence. He now moved to Casa Grande Transitional Housing according to records from the Nevada Department of Corrections.

The once first-round NFL draft pick was sentenced Aug. 9, 2023 to a minimum of three years and a maximum of ten years in state prison after he agreed to plead guilty to a pair of charges.

The former wide receiver was reportedly driving as fast as 156 mph with a blood alcohol level that was twice the legal limit when his Chevrolet Corvette struck and killed Tina Tintor in her Toyota RAV4 early on the morning of November 2, 2021.
