LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Road rage led to a deadly shooting on the Las Vegas Strip, police say.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting happened in front of the Palazzo near Las Vegas Boulevard and Sands Avenue.
At 4:04 p.m., police said a man was shot in the neck in front of the Palazzo. Early details reveal that the shooting was related to road rage.
The victim walked up to the suspect’s vehicle before he was shot. Police said the victim died.
The suspect fled the scene. Police describe him as a “light skinned, thin male, who was wearing his hat backward. The vehicle is a silver Subaru WRX.
Metro said Las Vegas Boulevard is closed in both directions between Sands and Sirens Cove Drive. Eastbound Sands Avenue is closed from Las Vegas Boulevard to Koval Lane.
