LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – FOX5 learned a 13-year-old girl died in a Logandale crash Friday.
Nevada State Police said the crash happened around 6:02 p.m. at Moapa Valley Boulevard and Bowman Road. This is 56 miles northeast of Las Vegas.
Police said the driver of a 4-wheeler did not obey a stop sign as a Ford F-250 was approaching the intersection.
The driver of the Ford tried to prevent a crash by steering left, but was unsuccessful.
The passenger of the 4-wheeler, Saige Z., died at the scene.
The investigation is being conducted by the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol – Traffic Homicide Unit. 2024 Year to date: The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Southern Command has investigated 71 fatal crashes resulting in 79 fatalities.
