LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Clark County Coroner has identified the wrong-way driver involved in an I-15 crash that killed a Las Vegas police officer last week.
On Thursday, Dec. 12 around 12:26 a.m., two men were killed and one woman was injured after a wrong-way driver collided with another vehicle in the northbound lanes of I-15 near Valley of Fire State Park.
Both men were confirmed dead at the scene, while the woman was airlifted out with non-life-threatening injuries.
LVMPD identified one of the victims as Officer Colton Pulsipher, who was off-duty and driving home from his shift at the time of the crash.
State police would also confirm to FOX5 that the second man killed was the wrong-way driver.
In an update on Monday, the driver was identified as Fernando Jimenez-Jimenez, 31. His residence is currently unknown.
Circumstances surrounding the crash currently remain unclear.
