LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Nevada Health Centers’ Mammovan is hitting the streets in the fight against breast cancer.

The mobile screening clinic travels across the state year-round, and for the next few weeks, the Mammovan is making stops throughout the Las Vegas Valley, offering convenient access to mammogram screenings to all women, regardless of economic status.

They accept most major insurance plans, Medicaid and Medicare, and the cost of your screening may even be covered.

Nevada Health Centers says for women 40 and older, these short, 20-minute screenings are critical in preventing breast cancer, since early detection is the best protection.
