LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metropolitan Police ask for the public’s help finding the driver who hit a pedestrian Thursday night in a crosswalk at the intersection of W. Washington Avenue and North Yale Street.
Metro says the call came in just after 8:30 pm. Officers say evidence from the scene and surveillance video shows a light-colored, late-model, single-cab, long-bed pickup truck come south down Yale Street and collide with the person. They say the video then shows the truck continue to head south on Yale and leave the scene.
Paramedics took the pedestrian to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Anyone with any information about this incident, this driver, or this truck is urged to call Metro’s Collision Investigation Section at (702) 828-3595. You can also remain anonymous by leaving a tip on the Crime Stoppers website, or by calling (702) 385-5555.
