LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metropolitan Police will provide a briefing on a fraud investigation after dozens of people showed up to an area business looking for a job.

The investigation is taking place at a business plaza near Sunset Park, at Sunset and Eastern. Police will provide details at 1 p.m.

FOX5 spoke with multiple people on scene who said that they had showed up for an alleged job opportunity that was shared on social media. The job-seekers told FOX5 they were asked to front $200 to complete background and drug screenings in order to get the job, but that when they showed up to do the drug testing, they were unable to complete the test.

Photos and videos from those who were on scene showed dozens of people lined up outside the business and multiple police vehicles on scene.
