LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Valley saw a significant warm up Monday, with a daily record high temperature set.

According to National Weather Service Las Vegas, Harry Reid International Airport hit 80°F Monday afternoon. It breaks the previous record of 77°F, set in 2018.

NWS also said it’s the warmest day since Oct. 28 and could only get warmer Monday.

Warm temps will stick around at the beginning of this week before winds and a cool down later in the week.
