LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police made an arrest in a fatal house party shooting last year.

Metro police said the shooting happened the night of Dec. 22 in the 3100 block of Cipro Avenue. This is near Dean Martin Drive and W Starr Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found a man in the backyard with gunshot wounds. Medical arrived and said he died at the scene.

Detectives learned the victim was involved in a fight with another person, now identified as Hamilton Wade III, 27. Police believe Wade shot the victim and fled before officers could arrive.
