LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – 14,000 customers are without power in east Las Vegas.

A power outage map on NV Energy’s website shows an outage in the area of Nellis Boulevard and Washington Avenue.

According to Clark County firefighters responded to a brush fire near north Nellis, which impacted a power pole.

Two engines responded to the incident which mostly impacted these areas in 89110 with 10,000 customers without power. In the 89115 area, 3,148 customers are without power.

“Thank you to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and NV Energy for their quick response and supporting the efforts of public safety,” said Clark County Fire Department.

The cause is being investigated. FOX5 is en route to the area and have asked NV Energy for the latest.
