LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas high school students design careers in fashion with a four-year program at Southwest Career and Technical Academy.
High school students get college-level instruction and hands-on experience during their four years at the academy.
“The world of fashion is actually very challenging, but I think what we do here is we set them up for realistic environments,” said graphic design teacher Jennifer Gonzalez.
Interested youth can apply, here: Southwest Career and Technical Academy.
Students can learn about and apply for scholarships with the Las Vegas Fashion Council.
