LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Clark County coroner identified the man who died in a stabbing and was found in a wash area.

Las Vegas police said a person, later identified as Alejandro Rodriguez, was reported lying in a wash at the 2200 block of Renaissance Drive. This is near Eastern and Tropicana.

Las Vegas police say Rodriguez was stabbed. Homicide responded.

Police believe he was homeless and living near the wash. Early investigation shows an argument happened with another man between 10 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m.

Police are still searching for the suspect. The coroner says Rodriguez died from sharp force injuries. He was 67.
