LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Bad actors also try to reach their victim’s employers.
The victim’s office or work network may seem secure, but even a simple mistake can open the door to trouble.
With that in mind, never write down passwords in notebooks or sticky notes. If someone finds it, the security is compromised.
Lock screens when leaving a computer. Never insert an unfamiliar USB drive into a hard drive. It could spread malware throughout your organization’s system.
Also, don’t download untrusted applications or software onto your work computer. They, too, can infect the network with viruses.
