LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police said they arrested a 23-year-old man for a woman’s death Friday.
Sunday afternoon, police responded to a woman found dead inside a bedroom in the 2100 block of Naco Court. This is near Sahara and Rancho.
Police said a party was thrown at the home the night before and the woman’s body was not discovered until the following afternoon.
The people who discovered the body said they did not know her.
Friday, police identified the suspect as Steven Flores. Thursday, he was taken into custody in Dolan Springs, Arizona by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. He is pending extradition to Las Vegas.
MCSO said Flores was found in the 13000 block of Joshua Drive. Officials said SWAT responded as the suspect refused to exit the property.
Mohave County officials say no one was injured during the incident.
