LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Clark County Department of Family Services is offering expedited foster parent training starting this weekend.
The fast-tracked classes are designed for families and single parents who want to receive their foster care license.
Immediately after completing the program, participants will be able to become a foster parent and welcome infants, children, teens, or sibling groups into their care.
The fast-tracked training takes 2 to 3 weekends to complete.
For those looking for a slower pace, Family Services still offers their ongoing traditional 7-week training program.
For more information on how to sign up for either the fast-tracked training or regular-paced training program, visit the Clark County Foster Care website.
