LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – FOX5 obtained the 911 calls which reveal the moment a woman was shot inside her car with her passenger inside.
29-year-old Hope Ritter was found in her car on Feb. 15 around 2:34 a.m. near Fremont and Las Vegas Boulevard with multiple gunshot wounds to the head, officials reported.
FOX5 later learned Ritter was an employee at Atomic Liquors, just a few blocks from where she was shot.
“She’s my bartender,” the passenger told the 911 dispatcher. “I had a crush on her,”
Police say she was talking with a friend in her car when two men walked past them and shot inside.
“I just heard clack clack and laid down,” he explained.
According to the 911 call as police arrived on scene the passenger became coherently emotional.
“Oh my god, Hope is no longer here, and it’s my fault because I wanted to bring her to my house. She gave me a ride home,” he expressed.
Las Vegas Metro police arrested Philip Strong, 18, and Charles Wright, 20 on Feb. 21.
The pair is set to appear in court on April 7.
