LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A man accused of 10 robberies throughout the Las Vegas Valley has a criminal past in a different state, documents show.

FOX5 obtained the arrest report for Randy Callins. He faces 10 robbery charges and 11 of destroying property.

Las Vegas Metro Police say the robberies started December of last year. Most of the robberies happened along Decatur Boulevard.

The arrest report shows a pattern in the robberies that detectives noticed around the sixth robbery.

Callins would break the front door or window with a heavy object such as a rock or cinderblock, steal the cash register and leave the same way he entered. He would also wear similar clothes.

The most recent robbery happened in February. At this scene, police collected gloves and a face mask.

Detectives found that the DNA came positive for Callins. Metro police learned he had a criminal past of burglaries in Alabama.

The arrest report says police went to arrest him at his home. At first, Callins did not comply. The scene turned into a barricade.

At some point, police said he gave himself up and was later taken into custody.

In an interview with Callins, police said he sounded remorseful. He said the manager of the group home he lived in stole all his extra cash that he obtained from the robberies.

Police said he denied knowing anything about the robberies broadcasted on the news. He admitted his sister wanted him to tell police during a phone call.
