LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Recently, Tesla businesses around the country have become targets for demonstrations and vandalism.

This year, CEO Elon Musk became a key figure in President Donald Trump’s Dept. of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and has slashed federal jobs and programs.

On Tuesday, a Tesla Collision Center in the Las Vegas Valley was the latest target of a fiery attack.

The attacks originally started back in January, when a location in Colorado was hit twice. On January 29, Loveland Police announced an investigation into several incidents at a local Tesla dealership.

Weeks later, the dealership saw an arson attack, alongside vandalism and graffiti.

On March 1, protests reached a fever pitch at a Tesla showroom in Boston.

“The message today is to stop Elon, stop this terrible tearing up of our government, and get things back to normal,” one protestor said.

On March 6, shots were fired at an Oregon Tesla dealership, which later became the target of another shooting days later. Oregon police shared that up to 15 shots rang out, damaging the building and cars.

Earlier this month, in Seattle, four Tesla Cyber Trucks were set on fire.

The attacks would also pick up steam overseas on March 14, when four vehicles were also set on fire in Berlin.

In the Las Vegas attack Tuesday, Las Vegas Metro Police shared during a press conference that a suspect used Molotov cocktails and a gun to set fire to multiple cars.

“One thing that I wanted to highlight and make crystal clear, especially in light of reporting that’s been ongoing around the country about similar incidents, targeted attacks at Tesla facilities, is that violent acts like this are unacceptable regardless of where they occur,” Spencer Evans, Special Agent in Charge with FBI Las Vegas said.

This incident coincides with two other attacks on Tesla businesses. including San Jose and South Carolina.
