LAS VEGAS Nev. (KOLO) – A Las Vegas man with prior felony convictions has been indicted on charges of possessing stolen guns.
According to the DOJ, 37-year-old Franciso Iniguez was in possession of 28 guns, including handguns, rifles and shotguns.
Iniguez’s prior criminal history includes convictions for possession of a firearm by a felon, driving or taking a car without consent, grand theft, identity theft, and burglary in the second degree, all occurring in Los Angeles County.
He has now been charged with one count of possession of stolen firearms and count of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. His trial will begin on May 19.
If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison.
