State police: Woman hit, killed on I-15 NB near Sahara

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Nevada State Police troopers are investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian on I-15 northbound just south of Sahara Avenue Tuesday morning.

The crash occurred just after 5:30 a.m. when a sedan and a pedestrian collided. The adult female was pronounced dead on the scene.

A news release said that the driver remained at the crash and is cooperating with police.

I-15 northbound traffic is being diverted onto the Spring Mountain on-ramp.

State police suggest using alternate routes.

A social media post indicated that the “I-15 at Sahara northbound far right travel lanes may reopen for traffic soon.”
