LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A Las Vegas police officer accused of home invasion and burglary posted bond.

Metro Police announced Dylon Carden’s arrest Monday morning. He was booked into the North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center. He faces one count of home invasion and burglar.

According to an arrest report, Carden broke into the home of his wife’s co-worker.

The caller said he recognized Carden through his wife. He said Carden is insecure and believed that the two were having an affair.

Carden fled the home when he pointed a firearm at him.

The report says Carden and his wife are looking to divorce and have been cheating on each other.

Carden was not in court Tuesday morning because he posted bond. His next hearing is Tuesday, April 8 at 8:30 a.m.
