LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Henderson Police Department announced that one of its K9s has passed away.
His name is Rado.
The department says he was taken into emergency surgery after getting sick.
He passed away due to complications from the surgery.
K9 Rado was born in April 2023 and joined the department in July 2024.
He served as a patrol service dog alongside his handler.
HPD says Rado made a lasting impact with drive and eagerness to work.
