LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A woman has died as a result of a crash in the central Las Vegas Valley Monday morning.
The crash happened around 3:20 a.m. when a dark-colored sedan was traveling east on Flamingo Road as a woman was crossing the street east of Palos Verdes Street. Police said she was walking outside of a crosswalk.
The sedan struck the woman and left the scene, a Metro lieutenant told FOX5. The woman was pronounced dead on scene.
Police are continuing to investigate.
No other details have been released at this time.
