LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A Las Vegas teen has critical injuries following an east valley crash Friday night.
Las Vegas Metro Police said the crash happened near I-11 and Tropicana Avenue.
Evidence indicates that the 16-year-old rode a minibike eastbound on Del Santos Drive, approaching a T-intersection with El Pastor Lane. Police said he failed to stop at a posted stop sign and he hit a curb.
Medical arrived and transported him to UMC with injuries life-threatening.
Impairment is not suspected. Police said no other vehicles or pedestrians were involved in the crash.
“The collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section,” police said.
