LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Security specialists warn PayPal users to be on the lookout for two words that could save you from a scam.

It starts with what looks just like an authentic PayPal email. It’ll threaten to suspend your account unless you update your personal information within 48 hours. The link inside the email will take you to an impostor PayPal site where bad actors will steal your information.

Here’s the red flag: the email will almost always have “Action Required” in the subject line.

Beware – both the email and the site will look real, but they’re just clever fakes. If you get this type of email, do not click on the link! Instead, verify any account issues through PayPal’s official website or app.
